KRATOS BEARD STYLE: How to achieve kratos beard style?
KRATOS BEARD STYLE
WHO IS KRATOS?
Kratos is a Greek mythology God (AKA Cratus and Cratos) also the son of Pallas and Styx. Kratos is believed to be the personification of strength. According to Greek mythology, Kratos and his siblings actually lived with Zeus. It is believed that Kratos was the epitome of masculinity who would result in unnecessary violence and would believe in Zeus’ oppressive ways.
BUT
The Kratos character is not commonly known from the Greek Mythology but rather from a very famous video game God of War.
This is actually where the Kratos beard’s inspiration came from. When they developed this character the creators wanted to create a character that looked brutal but not look like a traditional Greek hero.
Needless to say, the notorious character is not only notorious for the character but is iconic for its beard!
Similar to the Greek mythology’s version of Kratos, he is known for his masculinity.
The backstory of Kratos’ character is honestly wild! He accidentally killed his wife and kids then he decided he had to avenge his brother’s death so he killed his Dad and many others.
Up until Kratos’ appearance on the screen the full beard was not actually popular or desirable but rather was seen as disheveled or messy. The Kratos character actually made the full beard look popular!
WHAT DOES THIS KRATOS BEARD LOOK LIKE
This beard is typically seen to be:
- very thick
- a very high cheekline
- A thick moustache
- Bushy sideburns that connect with the thick moustache
- Very dark coloured beard
- Very dense
This beard is usually spotted with a bald head.
It’s a quite unusual look as it oozes masculinity but also gives an air of IDGAF.
