Let’s get into it!
The burning question is what thin beard styles you can rock and flaunt! Before we get into it… what is considered and defined as a thin beard. Here are some criterias for a thin beard:
- Uneven growth
- Lighter or thinner hair
- Some people may be mean and call it “pube-like”...
That’s ok once again no shame in your game let’s help you style whatever you got. Ok!
HOW TO STYLE YOUR THIN BEARD TO MAKE IT LOOK THICKER AND FULLER?
GROW IT OUT
If you are struggling with your beard and feel as if your beard still looks thin… then just grow it out. If you struggle on the volume of your beard then focus on the length of your beard.
Growing it out can be a little bit tricky. This is a case-by-case basis where honestly not all thin patchy beards look good. We can show you a few examples
If it's going to look like this you have 2 options.
You can either:
Use our beard filler kits to fill in the patches
This leads to our 2nd point
What did you think we were going to shave your whole beard off?
What we’re saying is if your beard is growing thin and patchy and you feel as if growing it long isn’t working then trim it! Keep it nice and short and regularly groom it so it looks clean and neat.
A huge mistake people make is using the thicker longer hairs to cover up the patches but honestly that doesn’t work.
It is usually noticeable and isn’t really a good look. Instead keeping it short can do you a world of good. We will show you some examples:
If you trim it and keep it short you could easily rock a stubble beard. With the help of some beard corrector kits honestly you are good to go!

WHAT NOT TO DO IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A THIN BEARD?
NOT USE BEARD CARE PRODUCTS
You should always be using beard care products such as a beard balm beard conditioner, beard shampoo and have a solid beard care routine. This applies to both pre-shave and post-shave care. You must develop a solid beard care routine that works for you! Do your research and find what is the cause of your beard patchiness which leads us to the next point
FIND THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM
Is it a hormonal issue?
Is it your eating habits?
Are you working out and exercising enough?
Could it be lack of sleep and overstressing?
Or is purely down to race and genetics
Overshaving is the worst thing you can do for your thin beard. I know it can be tempting to shave your beard on a daily basis but you gotta let your beard grow so you can see how your beard grows and understand the pattern of your beard growth
Are you using heat on your beard? That could be a cause of your thinning beard. If you choose to use heating tools on your beard make sure to use a heat resistant spray to protect your beard
LET’S TALK ABOUT SOME THIN BEARD STYLES YOU CAN ROCK!
Honestly this is a great option! A complete goatee is a great option as it doesn’t require a lot of growth. It shapes your face nicely gives you more OOMPH so this is honestly always a viable option
There are a few different types of stubbles:
The stubble beard is probably in my opinion my favorite beard style for thin beards. It is versatile, you can grow it out, easy to maintain and shapes your face really well. Doesn’t require a lot of growth and does not emphasize on your patches.
With this style you must keep the whole beard at one length. Don’t have length variations. This is indeed a sexy beard but keep it is not a easy beard to maintain
Doesn’t require a lot of cheek growth. You can easily get away with growing a nice thick mustache and long chin hair to give your face some more length and framing. For those who struggle with cheek hair you can either shave the cheek face off or grow a thin beard like the image above to frame your face a little more
Just a thin beard framing the jaw of the face whilst having more volume in the chin area. It is perfect for those who struggle with chin hair! The Balbo beard is versatile; you can grow it out or keep it short! It’s a unique style that will definitely help you stand out from the crowd!
